Looks like Vijay is very particular about catering to one crucial segment of his fans — kids. He acted in the fantasy Puli mainly because it was targeted at children, and the scenes between him and Baby Nainika in Theri were a huge hit among the audience, with 'Theri Baby' becoming a popular catchphrase after the film's release. Now, the makers of Vijay 60 have also decided to cash in on the fan following that Ilayathalapathy has among children. Monica Siva, a six-year-old Chennai girl, will be playing a pivotal role in Vijay's next film with director Bharathan.
A source in the team says, "Monica's role is not similar to what Baby Nainika had in Theri. She plays the daughter of the heroine's (played by Keerthy Suresh) sister in the film. Her characterisation will be unique, and she has a lot of combination scenes with Vijay, which will be cute."
Monica also has a handful of projects — she will be seen in Sibiraj's Kattapava Kaanom, the children's film Sangu-chakkaram, and two untitled films that star Siddharth and Jai.
